Trade buyers ask about safety first, and rightly so. Here is exactly what the collection has been tested to, what it passed, and what is inside each character.
Standards and results
The full collection of fifteen characters was submitted together to an independent, accredited toy-testing laboratory. Every component in every character was assessed, from the plush fabrics and embroidery threads to the tag fleece, cord and grommet.

The age grade tested and labelled is all ages. The requirements in EN 71-1 section 5 for toys intended for children under 36 months, including soft-filled toys and cords, were tested and passed.
Construction
What is inside every character
Sealed weighted bead pouch
The weighted pouch that gives each character its sit is fully sealed inside the polyester fibre fill.
Reinforced tag attachment
Internal stitching at the tag anchor point is reinforced so the tag stays put through decoration and play.
Short cord
The tag cord is kept short, well under the 220mm limit that toy safety standards apply to cords.
Crimped grommet
The metal grommet in the tag is industrially crimped, not glued.
Embroidered features
Eyes and smiles are embroidered, not plastic, so there are no small parts to come loose.
Material cleanliness
Plush and filling passed the material cleanliness requirement of EN 71-1.

After you decorate
Testing covers the character as supplied. Once you personalise the tag you become responsible for the materials you add, so use inks, films, vinyls and threads that are themselves suitable for toys and children's products, and follow the settings in our decoration guides so the tag and plush are not damaged by heat.
